For those who may visit who are not Shade players, Shade is an rpg you play on your phone. Currently two versions are available WAP or JAVA (also called J2me and BREW). It is a dragon slaying type game that you play on a live platform with other players. You can form associations or clans to help each other in this violent world. Other players may also work against you or even become an enemy. The Shade world is a persistent world, which means even though you may not be logged on events continue to take place. The creators of the game are highly involved as well. In Canada, Telus is the sole carrier of Shade on both their cell system and their 'MIKE' system. In the U.S. it is carried by the following Telcos: Nextel Verizon T-Mobile AllTell Boost Shade is also available in New Zealand and Britain. Take this link:

Shade is a fun place to study human community misbehavior and dysfunctional inner emotional expressive social interactions. Vicarious exploits of empowered pixel sprite humanoid graphics exchange lessening data totals translated as repersentational damage by use of physical ranged and magic attacks. Where skill and phone speed fail, superior internet connection and charismatic induced team attacks prevail, whether it be against various in game monsters, or against your fellow player, some of which will take being attacked personally and ask you repeatedly why. Shade was not superbly designed in that it doesn't take into account the imbalances causd by different handset/telc operating systems, nor the x factor of human social disorders that other MMORPG's have already emplaced controls to govern and regulate for the fun and relaxation of everyone involved. If you're looking for a good pvp game with limited quests up to a point, a possible promise of a puzzle put in, and a most interesting look at civilization, Shade is for you. Myself I have nothing else better to do and I'm optimisticaly holding out to hold Shade to being something better than what it's apparently being lately, lol. Be sure to drop by their forum and see some real intriguing, warily posted, wearily moderated, and barely administrated, jk, lol. Not as much a HOW TO for game play but a HOW WE and HOW YOU SHOULD that conflicts so many places as to spintwist the average person's head right off. What you're left with is make as many friends as possible, in a large clan, form a large clan, find a large alliance, and try to survive other people while fighting powerful monsters, and making something outta nothing from scratch and pure imagination while unravelling the mysteries of a Land where Chaos does Indeed rule.
