Basically, the only fault I can find with you story is some minor punctuation type things.
I like the fictionalized real Shade events type of story telling that you use. I understand you are pretty young? I think you have a real skill for writing/story telling that will only improve as you mature.
I know that sounds school teacherish but by the time you hit college I think you will understand what I mean. I hope you will be able to take some of your love to tell stories into adulthood and maybe become a sucessful writer. It is a tough career to pursue, however, but any sort of writing will hone your skills, so keep at it.
Most of the people in this game are ten, twenty or even thirty years older then you. They have more life experience, etc.
None of us here, are real writers. Some of us just love this game and have a story to tell locked up somewhere trying to get out. This forum, the Shade forum and many like this allow us a platform to let them out.
So keep at it, you are doing a good job so far.
Now, where is that damn Hallowe'en story? Lol.

good writing chico. i agree with raiven. dont ever stop writing.
i disagree with her on one point though. im a writer lol. im a writer before im a shader or even a musician. the one thing i can say is, when you write, make sure you are comfortable. and if you want people to read your stories a certain way, then you have to put your heart into it. if you want someone to feel the fear of your first drac hunt, then you have to relive that fear.
a great way to flesh out a story is to:
1. pick a topic 2. brainstorm ideas 3. organize ideas into a skeleton of your story. not alot of detail needed here, just basic plot points. 4. decide what areas of the story you want as a main theme or climax etc. 5. write a rough draft 6. proof read and edit. parts that drag or that aren't exciting (compared to the overall story), rewrite 7. repeat 5 and 6 until your story says exactly what you want it to.
thats basically how i write music and songs and stories. for example, if i write a song, i find the line or verse that most portrays the emotion i want people to feel when they hear my song. then i start writing the music. around that line or verse, i build up the music in a way that the line stands out but is not buried in music. and also try to make the music in that area not take away from the emotion i put into that line when i wrote it.
thats the great thing about being a writer. when you become good at it, you can change people with your words, if they dig deep enough. everything i write means something to me. it is a part of me. and no matter what stage im in in life, i can reread them and remember the pain i felt, or the love.
so keep up the good work bro. you are well on your way. and keep reading!
