Alright, i think this is far more than necessary. And i'll put it here in the open-general board so that everyone may get a chance to give their advice, comment on things that they do differently from myself or other players, or just to read and familiarize urself with the different things u can do on trips to places like Tiur'el, Bal'Rak, and Bal'Tor. Generally, as we should all know, monsters tend to move east and west primarily. And will only move north or south if they are forced to. If u don't understand that, i believe i explained it in more detail in a thread titled, "Monster Movement."The number 1, most important thing to mention here is... No matter how fast u think ur phone is, or how much u want to see ur pic to see where you are...THERE ARE TIMES THAT U HAVE TO CONTINUE MOVING WITHOUT LETTING UR PICTURE LOAD!! Some phones u can simply scroll down and hit move, or hit agian before ur picture loads, some phones (like most samsungs for example) u actually have to hit a button, usually a shortcut key that will say 'cancel' to stop ur picture from loading and then u may hit again or choose ur next move. Whatever u have to do to move before ur pic loads, do it. It's possibly the most simple idea in this thread, speed = advantage.

Alright, 1st and formost... u MUST be able to get around a monster one on one in a limited amount of space. Step 1: Get directly north or south of the monster 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Step 2: Move east... 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 00001P000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Step 3: ...and then north, WITHOUT LETTING THE PICTURE LOAD! 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000MP000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
This is the most basic of maneuvers on runs like this. If u cannot do this... U may as well just stop reading this thread until u get urself a new phone. only advice that i have that hasnt been already covered is that if your connection is less than stellar, and you know it, do a quick zig-zag and run by instead of the juke and run you show. Step 1: Get directly north or south of the monster 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Step 2: Zig..... 000011000 000011000 000011000 00001M000 00001P000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Step 3: Zag and move to pass as fast as possible 000011000 000011000 000011000 00001M000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
000011000 000011000 000011000 0000PM000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
That will give a little more time in the 1 on 1 type situations. The monsters have a set amount of time between their movements, if ur moving east, the monster moves east, and then u could move west and north before it has the opportunity to move again. Another small tip for that situation, is when ur moving east and/or west, if u get a 'D' after ur move u know that monster just attacked, and will more than likely give u plenty of time to get by. When u don't get that hit, usually it means ur moving before the monster has made it's action and it will probably move over north of u before u can get by. All about timing. Also when u do use either one of these to get by a monster, once u move north, always hit again before the pic loads, it saves damage because ur not sitting in line (east/west) of that monster nearly as long, and while ur waiting for ur pic to load u know ur not gonna get hit.

In the event that u have 2 ppl in a similar situation to the one above... Running Tip: When 2 ppl are running through a difficult area with little room to move around, here's an easy way to get by monsters while moving north or south. 2 or 3 lane path. (2 lane shown here) Step 1. Player with monster in thier way. 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Step 2. 2nd player steps next to monster 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000MP000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Player 2 sits there next to the monster, do not continue north yet. I even tend to move towards the monster. If i were player 2 i'd be trying to move west at this point. Step 3a. 1st player moves east, below player 2. 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000MP000 00001P000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Step 3b. Monster follows player 1, can't move east so it moves south. 000011000 000011000 000011000 00001P000 0000MP000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Player 2 was moving west 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000P1000 0000MP000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
And now both players can continue north

Same situation, moving north: 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000MM000 000011000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Keep one space between the two monsters and ur player... The monster to the east will move down... 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 00001M000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000
...and then west 000011000 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 0000M1000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000
At this point u could do one of two things; 1. Move east and then quickly run north. Moving u past both monsters 000011000 000011000 00001P000 0000M1000 0000M1000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Or 2. Wait for the monster to the north to take a step away... 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 000011000 0000M1000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000011000
Which would allow u to pass easier. 000011000 000011000 0000M1000 000011000 0000M1000 00001P000 000011000 000011000 000011000
000011000 000011000 0000M1000 000011000 0000MP000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
000011000 000011000 00001M000 00001P000 00001M000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
000011000 000011000 00001M000 0000P1000 00001M000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000
000011000 000011000 0000PM000 000011000 0000M1000 000011000 000011000 000011000 000011000

A little more difficult, east/west tip. 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111111MM1111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 111111MM111111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 1111MM11111111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000Ur timing has to be almost perfect for this to work... But the monster directly ne of the player is now ready to step south, if u move east at the right time, it'll keep that monster where it is, and force the other monster to come down west of u. 00000000000000 00000000000000 1111MM11111111 11111P11M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111M11111111 1111MP11M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000Move east then north and ur out. 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111M11111111 1111M11PM11111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111M1P111111 1111M111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111M1P111111 11111M1M111111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111M1P111111 111111MM111111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111M1111P111 111111MM111111 00000000000000 00000000000000

Moving East/West Normally moving east and west is a lot easier than moving north/south because of the way the monsters move... but can also lead to trouble cuz ppl get a lil too excited and try to do things too quickly. Here's an example of patience: 00000000000000000000000000 00111000000000000001111111 01111100000000000111111111 11111111100000111111111111 11111111111111111M11111111 11111111P11111111110000000 11111111111111111000000000 11111111111111000000000000 00000000000000000000000000
Just wait... simple 00000000000000000000000000 00111000000000000001111111 01111100000000000111111111 11111111100000111111111111 1111111111111M111111111111 11111111P11111111110000000 11111111111111111000000000 11111111111111000000000000 00000000000000000000000000
Keep waiting 00000000000000000000000000 00111000000000000001111111 01111100000000000111111111 11111111100000111111111111 111111111M1111111111111111 11111111P11111111110000000 11111111111111111000000000 11111111111111000000000000 00000000000000000000000000
Now it's safe to go 00000000000000000000000000 00111000000000000001111111 01111100000000000111111111 11111111100000111111111111 111111111M1111111111111111 11111111111111P11110000000 11111111111111111000000000 11111111111111000000000000 00000000000000000000000000
00000000000000000000000000 00111000000000000001111111 01111100000000000111111111 11111111100000111111111111 11111111111M111P1111111111 11111111111111111110000000 11111111111111111000000000 11111111111111000000000000 00000000000000000000000000
00000000000000000000000000 00111000000000000001111111 01111100000000000111111111 111111111000001P1111111111 111111111111M1111111111111 11111111111111111110000000 11111111111111111000000000 11111111111111000000000000 00000000000000000000000000
00000000000000000000000000 00111000000000000001111111 01111100000000000111111111 111111111000001111111P1111 1111111111111M111111111111 11111111111111111110000000 11111111111111111000000000 11111111111111000000000000 00000000000000000000000000
That doesn't look too fancy, and it's not... it's just a matter of waiting for the monster to come to u so that u may have more room to get past it... and so that when u run (east in this case), if u do see more monsters in to the east u've already pulled one of them out of ur way. If u have to, pull the next few of them out too... however if u had just run past that 1st monster and there happended to be more to the east, u don't have as much room or time to get back out to the west.

Patience with more than one (spell casting or ranger type) monster: 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111111M11111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000Because the monster to the south is attacking you, it will stay put. The monster to the north however will be moving toward u to attack from the north. So just wait, just like in the last example: 00000000000000 00000000000000 111111M1111111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 1111M111111111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000Then run east, and WITHOUT LETTING UR PIC LOAD move north: 00000000000000 00000000000000 1111M111111111 1111111PM11111 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 00000000000000 1111M11P111111 11111111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000And ur free to continue east

Tree Tip: Level 4 The end of lvl 4 has a 'hairpin' turn at the end going to lvl 5 ladder, this is easily the most difficult area in the tree... however, more often than not it can be manuvered thru easily. 0001111111100000000000000000 0000111111100000000111100000 000001111110000000011H100000 0000011111110000000111100000 0000011111111000000011100000 0000111111111000000011100000 0000011111111000000011100000 0000001111111100000011100000 1000000000P11110000011100000 1100000000111110000011100000 1111000000001111000011100000 1111000000000111110011100000 1111110000000111111011100000 1111111100000000111111000000 1111111110000000011111000000 1111110000000000001110000000 0000000000000000000000000000
As u're coming south down this hallway, STAY WEST, stay against the west wall on ur way south, wait for the monsters to slide over to the west and then run east and south to get to the hairpin corner. If u come down the center or right side of that hallway u are making things considerably more difficult for urself. 0001111111100000000000000000 0000111111100000000111100000 000001111110000000011H100000 0000011111110000000111100000 0000011111111000000011100000 0000111111111000000011100000 0000011111111000000011100000 0000001111111100000011100000 1000000000111P10000011100000 1100000000111110000011100000 1111000000001111000011100000 1111000000000111110011100000 1111110000000111111011100000 1111111100000000111111000000 1111111110000000011111000000 1111110000000000001110000000 0000000000000000000000000000

Only real thing I can add to this (and I use this quite a bit when necessarry) is sometimes you may need to backtrack a little to be able to move past the monsters. I.E. in exampe 2 and three, you can buy yourself just a little more time (we all know how bad tmobile is about slowing down in these situations lol) if you take a step or two west, then wait and continue with the directions speck gave. HOWEVER there will be occassions where this will put a monster to the west of you (if you didnt kill it before running west). If you can take a little extra damage, just wait. If you can't, wait just long enough so the monsters you're trying to pass hagve moved enough to give you the room you need. And that's kinda what the "Friggin' Go" part of the title of this thread is about lol... moving without so much backtracking... because more than likely the backtracking is what's gonna get u in trouble. Especially on the Tor run, say in this example here... 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111111MM1111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000...that u wanna backtrack a bit, so u take a step west... 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111111MM1111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000.... and another step west... 00000000000000 00000000000000 11111111MM1111 1111P111M11111 00000000000000 00000000000000It's not gonna change how the monsters are set up, and more than likely ur gonna run urself west into more monsters and have a whole new problem. The reason ur sitting in this spot to begin with is cuz the monster to ur east is stuck, if u move west u step off it's screen, so it just moves over again to stay at the edge of ur screen. If u move east, it'll still stay there, but ur gonna have less room to get by after the next step. The only reason to really backtrack, is when u can back out of a tight hallway into an open room, at which point u have more room to manuver once u've pulled the monsters into the bigger room, but if ur backtracking into a similar sized area, ur gonna make things more difficult by bringing more monsters into play. 00000000000000 11000000000000 11100000000000 11111111MM1111 1111P111M11111 11110000000000 11100000000000 00000000000000If this is the case, then by all means backtrack.

Another small addition: Running Blind- Sometimes running blind is a bad thing lol, when ur server isn't cooperating with you and no matter how long u wait ur picture wont load... But other times running blind is a good thing. Even a necessity... Basically it's a matter of memorizing where the monsters are from ur last pic, and then making a series of movements based on what u remember, and where u believe those monsters will be moving. This obviously requires that u understand how monsters move, and sometimes u can get into more trouble this way than by taking it one step at a time... but a lot of times when u've gotta move quick and every second counts, running blind can be the only way to survive. For example: There's really two ways u could get out of this situation, assuming u need to go west, and ur coming from the east. This is one of the two ways... 000000000 111111100 M11111110 1111M1111 011MP1111 0111111M1 001111111 000011111 000000000
This pic above would be the image u memorize... 000000000 111111100 1M1111110 11111M111 011M111P1 011111M11 001111111 000011111 000000000
Without pic loading 000000000 111111100 11M111110 11111M1P1 0111M1111 0111111M1 001111111 000011111 000000000
Without pic loading 000000000 111111100 111M111P0 111111M11 01111M111 0111111M1 001111111 000011111 000000000
Without pic loading 000000000 111111100 111MP1110 1111111M1 011111M11 0111111M1 001111111 000011111 000000000
Without pic loading 000000000 111111100 1111M1110 1111P1M11 01111M111 011111M11 001111111 000011111 000000000
Without pic loading 000000000 111111100 111M11110 1P1111M11 0111M1111 01111M111 001111111 000011111 000000000
And this will be the pic that u let load when u assume that u've made it by everything. If u guessed right, and all the monsters moved where u expected them to, u'd end up here. Like i said, unfortunately u can't always predict where some monsters will move, so there's always a chance that u'll think ur 3 or 4 moves ahead, when in reality u walked into a monster or a wall that u didn't expect to be there... at which point u just hope u haven't gotten urself stuck.

Use the landscape to ur advantage So many places on the trip to Tor can be made more difficult than they really are. Any chance u can get to use the landscape to ur advantage u should take it. Example: 000110000 000110000 000MM0000 000011000 0000P1000 000011000 000011000 000110000 000110000

When I had Virgin Mobil I developed a movement that I nick named "[glow=red,2,300]Gob Pinball[/glow]" Run blind 2 times change directions and run 2 more times repeat as required ( and hope you don't run into something). this requires that you know where you are and what is around you at all times, and can make a good guess what your opponent is going to do!

Lol,when DocDeath started playing he was Blind1. His phone did not load a picture at all!! He played by someone telling him how many steps to move and in what direction. Grimm even commented on it on the board one time. He said something like, "man you are legendary around here. It takes some guts to play blind like that!"
